Draw the actual liquid path
Identify the source vessel, intake, tubing and receiving arrangement. A plain cane supplies an intake shape, not a pump. A filling wand acts at the receiving bottle. Start with the parts already present so that a replacement wand is not mistaken for a complete transfer system.
Choose the filling control you want
The ProFiller uses a springless tip and sliding clip; the Home Brew Ohio wand has a spring-loaded tip. Compare the exact operating method and connection, without assuming the same hose fits both. Neither wand supplies an unattended level detector or a calibrated dose.
Keep hose dimensions in the purchase notes
The Krome 3/8 in figure is a cane outside diameter. The SENSTREE 1/2 in figure describes hose bore, while 3/4 in describes its outside. The ProFiller instructions identify a different hose bore. A fraction without its measuring scope is not a complete fit specification.
Match controls and limits to the line
Use the support clip for its named siphon family. Check the pinch clamp against actual soft-hose outside diameter. The ABC valve is a gravity-transfer part, not a hot-wort or pressure valve. A hose’s temperature statement does not extend to every connected component.
Compare the job and the buying check
Craft a Brew Compact Racking Cane with Removable Tip
The compact cane-and-tip replacement used in Craft a Brew’s one-gallon equipment, with a 12-inch tip-to-bend measurement.
Check: Compare tip-to-bend reach with the vessel you actually use, not only the total length of a different cane.
Krome 11346 Stainless Racking Cane with Protective Tip
A bent stainless racking cane with a protective end cap and a stated 3/8-inch outside diameter.
Check: Match tubing by its bore and the actual cane connection, rather than by an unqualified hose-size label.
Fermtech ProFiller Springless Bottling Wand
A springless bottling wand with a sliding clip for controlling a connected siphon line.
Check: Compare the operating method with a bottom-contact spring filler; choose the control you prefer for moving from bottle to bottle.
Home Brew Ohio Plastic Bottle Filler with Removable Spring
One plastic filling wand with a spring-loaded tip and removable spring, for a separately supplied transfer line.
Check: Choose the filling-control style after checking that your transfer feed is already equipped.
Further questions
Should I buy a new support clip with every replacement wand?
Check what is already in the setup. The clip supports the siphon or parks a suitable filler; it is not automatically required by every bottle-end control.
Does a protective cane tip remove every fine particle?
No rated fine-filtration cutoff is established. It is an intake accessory, not a verified sediment-free transfer system.
Can the silicone hose rating determine the temperature for the whole line?
No. The wand, valve, fittings and vessel have their own limits. Compare the actual connected components.
