The equipment in use
The DM-F300 is the conical-vessel option when a separate sediment outlet matters to your process. Its lower cone has a bottom drain and a separate liquid valve, rather than the single tap on an ordinary bucket. Compare that assembly with a small supported conical vessel: sharing a cone shape does not mean that both offer the same way to remove settled material.
The vessel body is 304 stainless steel, with a removable clamped lid, silicone sealing ring, side handles and supporting legs. A water-seal airlock fits through the top. The wide opening gives access to the interior when the lid is removed; the metal wall does not provide the through-wall visibility of a clear plastic or glass fermenter.
A dial thermometer provides a temperature reading at the vessel. It does not supply heating, cooling or automatic temperature regulation. The tank is sold in the 30-litre/8-gallon class, and the maker states a capacity tolerance. Choose your working fill from the intended recipe and required space rather than treating that nominal vessel figure as a guaranteed finished-batch volume.
If you are choosing it for a fitted location, confirm the assembled dimensions, access below the bottom valve and room above the airlock with the seller. Check the actual thermometer scale against the temperatures you need to read. For replacement fittings, use model DM-F300 and the actual connection rather than assuming a generic valve thread or gas fitting will fit.

Before and during use
Choose by outlet arrangement: a separate bottom sediment valve serves a different role from a single bottling tap.
Allow service space around the lid and below the valves, not only room for the tank body.
The lid opening and separate outlets provide access points to plan cleaning around. Follow the supplied DM-F300 instructions for dismantling and refitting wetted components; no cleaning chemical, dose or heating cycle is invented.

Questions about this product
The pictured DM-F300 has a bottom sediment valve and a separate liquid outlet. A conical jug with just one tap does not provide that same outlet arrangement.
It indicates temperature. It does not operate a heater or cooler, so environmental temperature control must be planned separately.
Do not select a valve only by the tank’s nominal volume. Match model DM-F300 and the actual thread or connection before ordering a replacement.
