The equipment in use
The PH100 measures pH with a flat replaceable electrode and shows temperature on the same display. Its 15-reading memory lets you retain a small sequence of measurements on the instrument. Choose it when those features matter more than an integrated tester with a non-replaceable pH probe.
Extech specifies 0.00–14.00 pH,0.01 pH resolution and typical±0.01 pH accuracy. Automatic calibration supports one, two or three points. The selected supply includes the sensor cap, sample cup with cap, four CR2032 batteries and neck strap; calibration buffers must be obtained separately.
The temperature-reading range is −5 to 90°C, while the meter’s operating environment is 0–50°C. Temperature accuracy is ±1°C through 50°C and±3°C above 50°C, according to the current manual. These different scopes do not authorize heating the whole meter to the sample’s maximum reading temperature.
The glass sensing surface needs gentle handling despite its flat shape. Extech directs keeping the cap sponge moist with pH 4 solution during storage. Compare the PH20 if you want the supplied pH 4/7 buffers and a pocket case, or the MW102 if separate cabled probes suit the workspace better.

Before and during use
Compare replaceable-electrode maintenance and saved readings with the contents of an integrated pocket kit.
Include calibration buffers and the maker’s cap-storage requirements in the purchase plan.
Rinse the electrode after use according to the maker and selected care directions.
Keep the protective-cap sponge soaked with pH 4 solution for storage, as Extech directs.
Do not touch or press the fragile glass membrane against a hard surface.

Questions about this product
The current manual says battery removal clears stored readings and user calibration data. Record any measurements you need to keep before changing batteries.
No. Extech describes a fragile glass membrane and says not to press it onto a hard surface. Use it according to the actual sample-measurement instructions.
No buffers are established in this PH100 supply. The selected gallery specifically says to order them separately.
