The equipment in use
The Daitouge jar is the glass option when access through a narrow carboy neck would make your process awkward. The supplier describes a 6.4-inch mouth, and the removable lid opens the top for filling and reaching the contents. That access is the practical reason to compare it with a conventional handled glass jug.
The jar is sold in the nominal five-gallon format. Photographs show clear body markings, a cylindrical airlock, stainless carrying handles, a measuring cup and a protective silicone base sleeve. These are separate features: body markings help you see the level, while the cup provides a smaller measuring container. No calibrated accuracy or guaranteed finished-batch volume is claimed.
There is no dispensing tap on the shown jar. Plan a suitable transfer method for your process rather than assuming the large lid replaces a siphon or bottle filler. Compare the tapped plastic bucket if gravity dispensing through an outlet is more important than a glass body and wide top access.
Confirm the installed footprint if the jar must fit a fixed space. The dimensional graphics and structured fields differ, and the shape labels are inconsistent. Also check cleaning instructions for the lid, seal, airlock and cup individually: a dishwasher field on the jar listing does not establish permission for every accessory or a hot-cleaning cycle for the complete assembly.

Before and during use
Choose for wide top access when a narrow jug neck would limit additions or removal of solids.
Plan transfer equipment separately if you need controlled bottling from this jar.
Check the separate instructions for glass, lid, seal, airlock and measuring cup. No dishwasher permission or heat rating is generalized from the jar field to the complete set.

Questions about this product
No dispensing tap is shown. Plan a separate suitable transfer and filling method, or compare a vessel with a verified outlet if that is your priority.
The jar listing’s dishwasher field does not establish instructions for the lid, seal, airlock and cup. Check each part’s supplied cleaning directions.
They provide different access. The wide opening suits processes where reaching the contents matters, while the smaller jug offers a compact format with its own stopper-and-airlock arrangement.
