The equipment in use
This Hedpak is the storage-and-dispensing option for a brewing workspace. Its faucet lets you draw liquid without repeatedly pouring from the main opening. Choose it for that handling role, rather than treating every container sold in a fermentation category as a complete active-fermentation vessel.
The supplier identifies a semi-rigid HDPE body, nominal five-gallon size, molded top handle, bottom finger grips and a 70 mm screw-cap opening. A vent and faucet support dispensing: replacement air can enter while liquid leaves, reducing the interrupted pouring associated with an unvented container. That dispensing vent is not the same component as a fermentation airlock.
The pictured faucet is supplied with the container. Check its actual connection before buying replacement taps or transfer hoses; a matching container volume or cap diameter alone does not establish the faucet thread. Allow room for the projecting outlet where the container will sit, not only space for the body.
Compare a fermentation bucket with a drilled lid and suitable airlock if your next step is active fermentation. Choose the Hedpak when you need its storage closure and dispensing arrangement. No hot-fill, carbonation, pressure-transfer or universal chemical-compatibility rating is established here, so those uses are not reasons to choose this reference.

Before and during use
Select it for a storage-and-dispensing task; choose a separately verified fermentation vent arrangement for active fermentation.
Check the outlet connection independently of the 70 mm main-cap opening when selecting a replacement faucet or hose.
Follow the supplied directions for the actual body, closure and faucet. No cleaning chemical, temperature limit or universal compatibility with brewing cleaners is inferred.

Questions about this product
Its stated role is smooth dispensing while liquid is drawn off. Choose a verified airlocked fermentation setup if gas-release control during active fermentation is the task.
That figure describes the main screw-cap opening. Confirm the actual faucet connection separately; it is not a stated faucet-thread specification.
Allow for the projecting faucet and access to operate it. The container body alone is not the complete dispensing footprint.
