The equipment in use

How this item fits your brewing setup

The Brewsie 10 gal set includes both a false bottom and a bazooka screen. Choose it when those filtering components are part of the brewing arrangement you need, rather than comparing kettles by capacity alone. The false bottom provides a raised barrier in the vessel, while the tubular screen sits at the outlet connection.

The listed set contains the kettle, lid, false bottom, screen, thermometer, ball valve, inner connector and mounting hardware. The selected capacity is 40 USqt/10 USgal. These are vessel dimensions and contents, not a promise that every recipe will produce ten gallons of finished beer.

Concord’s Brewsie sizing guide gives the 10 gal pot body as 14 in wide and 16 in high. Allow extra room for the handles and installed fittings. The stainless construction and filtering arrangement do not establish an exact alloy, universal induction compatibility or a guarantee that the outlet will never clog.

The lid can hang from a side handle. Compare the smaller Concord 20 qt set when a compact vessel without these filters is enough, or the larger Gas One 16 gal when capacity is the more useful difference. The supplied filters are not a reason to promise better flavor, a particular extraction efficiency or sediment-free beer.

Questions about this product

What else should you know?

What is different from a kettle supplied only with a thermometer and valve?

This set also supplies a false bottom, a bazooka screen and the listed connecting hardware.

Are 14×16 in dimensions for the entire fitted assembly?

The maker labels them pot-only measurements. Handles and fittings require additional clearance.

Does dual filtration replace the need to check the actual recipe and grain load?

No. The filtering parts describe the equipment layout, without establishing a universal grain capacity or extraction result.
