How this item fits your brewing setup

The BS-64 combines a nominal 16 US gal kettle with a lid, dial thermometer and ball-valve outlet. Choose this set when you need a larger boiling vessel and want local temperature indication and manual draining without buying those fittings separately. A burner, heater controller and transfer hose are not part of the stated set.

The 64 US qt / 16 US gal designation is the vessel’s nominal capacity, rather than a promise of a 16 gal finished batch. Plan the recipe, grain handling, boil headroom and losses before choosing a kettle by its nominal size.

The stainless body has a tri-ply bottom incorporating aluminum and internal volume markings. These are useful construction and measuring features, without a verified thermometer tolerance or calibration of every volume mark. Stainless steel alone does not establish compatibility with every induction hob or burner support.

The listed small assembly supplies include a mini wrench, O-rings and sealing tape. Compare the smaller Concord 20 qt set when space and vessel size are the main constraints. Compare the Brewsie 10 gal set when an included false bottom and bazooka screen are more useful than the larger vessel capacity here.

Questions about this product

What else should you know?

Do I still need a heat source?

Yes. The listed set supplies the vessel and fittings, without a burner or heater.

Is a grain filter part of this set?

No false bottom or bazooka screen is established as included. Compare the Brewsie set if those are the missing accessories.

Will it move wort to a higher fermenter by itself?

The outlet has a manual valve, not a pump. Powered transfer or lift capability is not supplied.
