The equipment in use
The GM-M-504 crushes malted brewing grain between two rollers. Choose it when you want to prepare a grain charge for brewing, rather than make flour or process hard whole corn. The supplied crank provides manual operation; a drill is optional and is not included.
The hopper is specified to hold up to 7.7 lb of grain. The two adjustment knobs change the roller clearance, with a stated 0.025–0.1 in range. That adjustment lets you select the crush for the malt and brewing process; no single setting or extraction yield is guaranteed for every grain bill.
The selected version explicitly has no base plate. Plan a suitable supporting mount and a collection vessel before use: the pictured mill, hopper and crank do not form a complete freestanding counter appliance. Check the mounting arrangement rather than assuming a board, bucket or fasteners for your support are included.
The rollers and small screws are described as stainless steel, while the hopper and crank handle use aluminum alloy. Compare the MaltMuncher if its three-roller layout and 12 lb hopper suit your workflow better. Neither a larger hopper nor an extra roller establishes a measured throughput or a guaranteed filter bed.

Questions about this product
No. The selected reference includes a removable hand crank for manual operation. A drill is an optional separate drive method.
A supporting base plate is explicitly excluded. Arrange a suitable mount and a collection vessel before use.
The supplier excludes those uses. It is a malted-brewing-grain crusher, rather than a general flour or hard-corn mill.
