The B217c combines bristles along a long shaft with a non-woven pad at the tip. Choose it when you need to reach inside a carboy and work on residue at the bottom as well as along the sides. The supplier identifies it for five-gallon carboys and growlers; that intended use is not a fit guarantee for every vessel with that capacity.
The angled tip is the distinctive working part compared with a straight bottle brush. Check that the brush can pass through the neck and reach the intended surfaces. The title gives a 27 in length, while the dimension illustration gives a different overall figure, so confirm actual reach if that measurement determines the purchase.
The selected instructions describe adding warm water to about one fifth of the carboy, then using the brush manually. Check the vessel’s own temperature instructions before choosing water conditions. No exact water temperature, chemical cleaner or sanitizing product is included with the brush.
