The equipment in use
The Red Baron is a wing capper: you place the tool over the bottle neck and operate its two handles. It is worth considering when you want a handheld capping tool instead of a column, platform and dedicated bench position. The selected package contains one capper.
The offer specifies 26 mm caps and a magnet in the capping bell. The magnet helps hold a cap during positioning; the handles operate the neck-gripping and capping mechanism. Match the tool to a suitable crown-cap bottle neck rather than choosing from bottle volume alone.
The pictured body and handles are red molded parts with metal jaws, springs and bell. This is a mixed-material tool, not a one-piece metal press. Its two-handle layout is also different from a hammer-style capper, which requires a separate striking tool.
Choose a bench capper such as the Colt Strong if you prefer the bottle supported under a column-mounted head. Choose this Red Baron for the handheld format. There is no bench stand to set to bottle height: the wing tool works at the bottle neck.

Questions about this product
The Red Baron is used as a handheld wing capper. Compare a column model if you want the bottle supported on a dedicated platform.
No. The neck also has to suit the tool’s gripping mechanism. Check the actual bottle format rather than using its capacity as a fit guide.
This is a two-lever tool. Compare the separate North Mountain hammer-style capper only if you want a different operating method requiring a separate striking tool.
